I just saw this video from some Saturday Night Live performance by Ashlee (or is it Ashley?) Simpson and boy, that was funny. The band started playing for a bit, she started doing that odd-but-foolishly-looking 'I am hip' dance, then she started singing, her voice reverbating through the speakers -- except the real, live Ashlee Simpson isn't singing yet! She had this sort of shocked, what the fuck look on her face, but she still did a bit of dancing on the stage, the 'background' softened but it was still audible, and she just went off the stage with the band still playing.
That must've been so humiliating. Why the heck do they find the need to lip synch anyway?

For the record, no, I don't have anything against Ms. Simpson, I think she's loads better than whiny Jessica Simpson, but I find it funny that things like that get caught on camera.
On other more important news -- YAY I GOT TO SEE DAVID ANDERS ON CSI!!!! Thanks to Carrie, she's like the most fantastic person ever.
