The hard part of the homework had to be done first! Now all I have left to do is find some images of various beaches and clubs of Ibiza, plus D'Alt Vila itself.
ATP
R Federer (1) def A Murray (5) 6-3 6-4 7-6
I wanted to root for Roger, but it's against my entire being. Hehe. So I ended up cheering for Andy, which was hard to watch, because it didn't seem like the Andy I've watched all throughout from Hopman Cup to that match against Rafa, where it was aggressive tennis (from both sides) right from the start. This time...I don't know. His serves weren't getting in as well as I think he hoped, and then for Roger to be playing well...it wasn't a good combination.
Also, I saw how he reverted back to his passive style of playing, sometime during the second set where Fed was taking it away, and it was a little sad and frustrating because I've seen him play so much better than that.
And aww, those tears! I think there was no one out there who didn't want to give him a hug. And despite that, he showed grace and composure. Roger should have hugged him; channel Rafa and all. =\ Give what your given, right? Anyway, but like Roger said, Andy will get his slam.
WTA
S Williams (1) def J Henin 6-4 3-6 6-2
I didn't get to see the beginning of this match. I started sometime in the second set, where I saw Serena not moving well and sometimes not moving much at all. Plus, her serves didn't have its usual bite, which is where she usually gets her free points from. So yeah, JuJu took that one, going into the third with momentum on her side.
But Serena hung in there, until she found her game again and ran away with the win. I wouldn't say it wasn't a bit tense watching as Serena struggled, and it's amusing for me to be on Serena's side for once. Usually, I root against her, but my dislike of Justine is greater.
As for Justine...well, she played good, really good for someone who's been out of the game for a while. I mean, considering how the rest of the players in the WTA are playing right now...she can definitely take them on. I'm scared for when the clay court season rolls in.
So it's another Fed and Serena Slam. Um. Please get healthy fast and remain that way, Rafa. I can't take the commies slobber on Fed any more than they already do.
