Movies! But right now -- I am wanting a doughnut.

Dr. Izzie Stevens of Grey's Anatomy may hate doing rectal exams, but OMG, try switching places with the one being examined. My pre-employment requirement of a physical exam included a rectal exam for my OB-GYN clearance, and the resident apparently felt a 3-4 cm. mass on the right side, and so she sent me off to have a transrectal ultrasound to rule out ovarian cyst.

GOD. No more inserting whatevers on my rectum! I was more bothered that I they would inserting the ultrasound probe on my rectum than the possible diagnosis of having an ovarian cyst. My mum actually went teary after learning that I had normal reproductive organs. I was like, 'Duh. I was more bothered by the probe than having an ovarian cyst! I'm pretty sure I don't have one anyway.'

I'm pretty sure you really don't want to be reading about my rectal exam adventures, but on the spirit of honesty...hah.

Anyway, last night, I had another DVD adventure! It's been a while since my last DVD post, I've been missing it. :D Okay, so I went to have my Grey's Anatomy season 2 box set exchanged, because it was missing the 'The End of the World' episode, and also the Supernatural DVD because it stopped working when I got to episode 14 (I was half-annoyed half-relieved, actually).

The Grey's Anatomy box set (cost: Php 450) they were giving me also has that episode missing, so we settled it with:

• Grey's Anatomy S1 & S2 - It had the two seasons bunched up in 3 CDs, so it was cheaper (Php 300). XD I still had Php 150, so I got...
   • Prisonbreak - HELL YEAH! Wentworth Miller! And fierytempest and I were just discussing it one night on how we'll be grabbing this series next. Thanks for the suggestion. :D

Then I went to have my Supernatural DVD exchanged, but I changed my mind because I don't want to subject myself to more nights of having difficulty going to sleep. I've felt incredibly tired the two days when I was watching the show; I clearly wasn't getting a good night's sleep. Anyway, I got --

• Veronica Mars S1 & S2 - Can I hear the VMars people on my flist give a whoop? XD lenabee, who were the Will/Bri-like characters again? And let me see if I am going to be part LoVe shipper fandom. Hee.

I also got a few movies!

• Kiki's Delivery Service - It's Hayao Miyazaki, I have to see it! After this, I think I only have Spirited Away to see, and Nagini has borrowed it from someone...I'll just watch it when she's not home. :D
   • Fight Club - I don't think I've met anyone who has said this movie sucked. And since it's in one of those 'Movies You Need To See Before You Die' lists, well then, I'm seeing it before I die! If I end up liking it, I'll probably go grab the book next.
   • Pirates of Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - I haven't seen this movie in AGES. I must be reminded of how awesome Jack Sparrow was while waiting for a clear copy of Dead Man's Chest from the DVD pirates. XD
   • The New World - I'm only watching this for Christian Bale. My love for pretty men knows no bounds.
   • The Libertine - Hello?! Johnny Depp! There is no need for any other reason. Has anyone seen this, perchance?

I also nearly got Battle Royale (part 1 and 2, too!) but it was in this 'movie collection' DVD and had Schindler's List and some other movies in it, and I'm not really interested in Schindler's List, 1 or 2.

I'm listening to the High School Musical soundtrack again. AHHHH. Must stop!
