bulleted rambles
• Valentine's Day is around the corner and the overwhelming amount of mush threatens to kill my sanity. So this begs the question -- is it impossible to exclude mush from love? Or at least have it in small amounts? Would such a relationship be dry and boring and fall apart? I am admittedly not a fan of fluff. I mean, yeah, sporadic moments of slight fluff is tolerable but these things give me shivers and it isn't the good kind.
Yeah, I'm accused of lacking a romantic bone in my body.
• So today was the first part of IELTS. I had listening, reading and writing. I think I did well, although I'm not really one to ponder how I did on an exam. I just go and do it and wait for the results. :D What was a serious disadvantage was that I was assigned to a seat number and it was right under the built-in airconditioning hidden in the ceiling so my hands were freezing. Actually, I was freezing. Thankfully someone turned it off during the writing part (which as you all know, is the one I have trouble with the most) so I was able to meet the word limit requirements. Thank for all the good luck sent my way! You guys are so awesome, LOVE. ♥*g*
The speaking part is on Monday at the British Council in Taipan Place, Ortigas and I'm the first in the line. Eep. I hope I do well!
• After the exam, I went to the mall beside the hotel because my 'rents and sis were there to buy shoes and a bag for my sister's prom. It took them FOREVER and now I feel absolutely tired despite an hour-long sleep in the car. Hmph.
• My dad keeps on playing Rod Stewart stuff in the car and I am strangely taking a liking to that type of jazz. He's requesting I find a copy of that other Buble album...'Caught in the Act', I think. Anyone has that? :D
• I can't find a soundtrack of Mars. No DVD and no soundtrack? The fates are against me. Whyyyy am I not allowed to indulge in my latest obsession, huh? Huh?
• JOHARI'S WINDOW - what words do you think describe me? Humor me and do it, please? *puppy eyes*

• I'm sure everyone has seen it but LOOKIE - Robbie Jarvis! He'll be playing young James Potter. Hee. So far, we only have him and young Wormtail. Calling out young Moony and Padfoot! *g*
• Gods, I really am tired. Does anyone have Enya's newest album and U2's Best of 2000-2001 (or something like that, just 'Best of' anything) and any nice stuff by INXS? Oh wait, I have the Tristan and Isolde soundtrack, must go and take a listen. I'll go beg The Man in the Iron Mask and The Count of Monte Cristo from you one day, fierytempest.
• OMG I REMEMBERED SOMETHING! I saw DVDs of the BBC version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian and The Silver Chair! I didn't buy them though because I am sadly a junkie for well-made flicks and the moment I saw stuffed Aslan I was "oh, forget it."
• boesekrissi, I know you've seen and loved Casanova -- was the score good? :D
