{personal} TAIWAN!!! and other chaos.
Guess what you guys???
I'M GOING TO TAIWAN!!! :DDD
I know, it's hard to believe, but absolutely trueeee!
I got accepted as a Plano Youth Ambassador last Thursday and I am officially going to Taiwan two days after school gets out!
We're staying for two weeks in Taiwan.
And, because it's fundamentally a foreign exchange program, a Taiwanese girl will be staying with me for two weeks in October!
Isn't that amazing?! She'll have all my classes and I'm supposed to take her to the movies, shopping, homecoming, etc..
I really hope she doesn't find my life too boring! XD
So, really a note to myself of things I have to do before going to Taiwan:
- Buy new clothes!!!
- Buy gifts for people in Taiwan
- Learn the art of diplomacy [a.k.a. answering tough questions before media.. I'm going to be on TV and in teh newspapers whaaat!]
- Lose weight? Idk. Will probably happen by the end of this due to exams and state-required fitness tests anyway.
- Learn how to line-dance
- Get money to buy all my beloved Asian music for cheap[er]!!!!!!!!!!! ♥
And things I have to do before school ends:
- World literature paper #2
- Extended essay sentence outline
And things I have to do before next school year:
- Sign up for SAT again
- Sign up for SAT subject tests
- Sign up for ACT
- Research more universities, including ones out-of-country???
- Start trying to decide on a major? Or area of interest? Maybeeee? :\
I love how all my entries are basically to-do lists.. ;__;
Well anyway, gotta go! I'm supposed to be studying for my IB physics SL test on Tuesday and Wednesday.. I'm about halfway through my 600+ page textbook, Physics for the IB Diploma (Fifth edition) by K.A. Tsokos, which is pretty good considering I only started on Friday! XD
Oh, speaking of my exams, they've been pretty god so far! I'm pretty sure I did okay on APUSH. Hopefully I passed IB economics, and AP economics.. well.. I could've done better. [Not my fault Kristina gave me Twilight and I just couldn't stop reading it! I finished it, having read the vast majority of the book in that one night!] Now I only have IB physics and AP English language left.. please wish me luck!
