Wrapped in the chill...

Apr 10, 2005 15:34

I woke up this morning and looked out my bedroom window.
Behold...spring's snowstorm in full bloom.
It's a beautiful sight...a blanket of ivory blowing across the street.
The steam of your breath floating through the air.

I've been somewhat MIA from my journal lately. Perhaps because I have nothing to say, or perhaps because I have no desire to write...or perhaps it's just a combination of many components that keeps me from doing anything on the net other than e-mail?

I've been tossing back thoughts in my head in what seems to be an endless game of catch. I toss an idea forward...I toss it back when I argue with myself that it's foolish/wrong or when I'm reminded. People I haven't spoken to in months are suddenly attempting to work their way back...interesting to say the least.
Too bad my normal confidant was not available to review/revise/edit.

Side note:
I had a very good conversation with one of my girls lastnight. While I believe she is a good source of advice in some arenas, she definitely is headed in a different direction than me. It's simply refreshing to bounce ideas off eachother and gain a sense of mutual benefit from the discussion. It also helps when you share a bottle of vino. ;)
