(no subject)
Yesterday was Comeback Kid / BANE / Strung Out. And right now, my right ear kind of hates me... We were standing right under the speakers, and after a while I couldn't take it anymore [even though I was wearing earplugs] so I moved back a little, but not enough, apparently. The bass was ridiculously loud for all the bands, I fucking hate that.
But anyway, I went with my friend, and we met up with Vinnie and his friend at the venue. We missed the first band, and caught about 15 minutes of The Reason, who I didn't care for at all. Stupid me, I should have at least stayed in the back while they finished their set. Comeback Kid were awesome, and since their singer was sick they had Andrew from Figure Four replacing him. BANE kicked my ass, as always, and Zach was crazy, as always. I love watching him go nuts on stage, it makes me smile. My friend and I went all the way to the back before Strung Out, and only stuck around for about four or five songs. They opened with Analog and that was good enough for me.
We went to the merch tables before leaving, and while I was there someone came up to me and asked if my name was Nancy... I was confused because I didn't recognize him at all, and it turned out to be someone from the AFI board who recognized me from a picture he'd seen months ago. Haha. Talk about weird.
After seeing BANE four times, I finally bought a damn hoodie. Also got some BANE and Comeback Kid pins, and today I ended up buying some cute new shoes. Funny how when I actually went out looking for some I never found any, but today that I was furniture shopping with my mom, I just happened to walk into a shoe store real quick and found these, which I loved.
