My brother is watching JAWS and I'm writing fluff. There is a joke in there somewhere.
Thirty Kisses
1. Look over here
Junghee knows that Jinki always falls for it when she points at his chest and flicks his nose to tease him, but she also knows that Jinki never minds when she uses it to press her lips to his like she is right now.
2. News: letter
Jonghyun only realized after Eunsook squealed in joy and grabbed him around the neck to slam her mouth to his that he had gotten the job at the record label.
3. Jolt!
Jinki woke up with a gasp when he felt a pair of lips on his, but the taste of melon lipgloss made him smile and grab Junghee’s chin so he could taste some more of it.
4. Our distance and that person
The distance between them seems like a million miles until baby Yoogeun falls asleep after Jonghyun begins to sing to him, his eyes twinkling so brightly that Eunsook can’t help but reach across the seat to kiss him.
5. Ano sa
Jinki’s Japanese could use some help, but he always knows what it means when Junghee gives him that soft pouting look and has him kissing her until he feels her smile against his lips.
6. The space between dream and reality
Jonghyun wakes up early to watch Eunsook sleep and waits right until her alarm is about to ring before reaching down and kissing her, not realizing that she always wakes a few seconds early to kiss him back.
7. Superstar
Onew is a superstar, but Jinki is not and yet it doesn’t bother him because whenever Junghee kisses him, he feels like he’s on top of the world.
8. Our own world
Jonghyun loves lazy Sundays when Eunsook stays in bed with him and presses kisses wherever she can reach until he growls and flips her over, making her giggle helplessly until he silences her lips with his own.
9. Dash
Junghee knows she’s horrifically late as she sprints around the house, trying to yank pantyhose over her legs while chewing on a piece of toast, but that doesn’t stop her from kissing Jinki as he stumbles through the door after his graveyard shift.
10. #10
Jonghyun writes lists and the list about Eunsook is over hundred items long, but his favorite item is still #10; how her kisses taste like candy, rainbows, and sunshine.
11. Gardenia
Jinki called every flower shop on his way to Junghee’s performance, but none of them carried Cape Jasmine and he walked in bare-handed only to see the flowers up close in her hair as she kissed him.
12. In a good mood
Eunsook knows the best way to cheer up Jonghyun when he gets writer’s block and it happens to involve some ice cream, some strawberries, and some melted chocolate passed from her lips to his to get the singer to smile again.
13. Excessive Chain
Jinki comes to an excessive chain of used tissues that lead to his bed where Junghee is snuggled up in his sweatshirt and he joins her, pressing kisses over her bruised eyes and cuddling her until her tears are spent.
14. Radio-cassette player
The car that Jonghyun rents is older than both of them, but when Eunsook hears the first track of the mixtape he made for the trip, she launches over the gear shift to kiss him fondly, singing along with the words, “Woah baby, Kiss me baby!”
15. Perfect blue
On sunny days, Junghee likes to drag Jinki out for picnics which Jinki only agrees to because he knows that one kiss will convince her to forget Ultimate Frisbee and other nonsense to snuggle with him on the blanket after they eat.
16. Invincible; Unrivaled
Jonghyun hides Eunsook from the world when she gets tired of being invincible, but what he doesn’t realize is that sometimes Eunsook just hides so she can be kissed and protected by him, her unrivaled clueless knight in shining armor.
17. Kilohertz
Jinki spends hours tutoring Junghee on kilohertz, frequencies, and radiation; and when she gets a 98 on her exam, she thanks him by tutoring him in the fine art of kissing.
18. “Say ahh”
Jonghyun is a terrible patient, but Eunsook manages to not only get him to take the medicine but also eat by peppering his face with kisses in between each bite.
19. Red
Jinki’s Valentine’s gift for Junghee is a heart-shaped pendant, but when he sees Junghee walk into their bedroom wearing only red thigh-highs and heels, he forgets all about his gift and focuses only on kissing the skin exposed by the lacey borders of those tights.
20. The road home
The taxi ride from the airport is supposed to bring them back to reality, but Jonghyun spends the entire time making Eunsook relive their honeymoon as he kisses every inch of skin exposed by her light sundress.
21. Violence; pillage/plunder; extortion
When Yoogeun decides that he wants to play pirates, Junghee figures it’s a great excuse to make Jinki her prisoner while Jinki figures he can pay with kisses in exchange for his freedom, a fact his pirate queen doesn’t seem mind.
22. Cradle
Watching Eunsook cradle Gwiboon’s baby in her arms results in Jonghyun dragging her home early and into bed where he begs with kisses for a baby of their own.
23. Candy
Jinki grabs Junghee after she eats his last butterscotch toffee and kisses her deeply, leaving the girl dumbfounded later as she realizes he stole it right out of her mouth.
24. Good Night
Eunsook suffers from insomnia the week Jonghyun goes to Japan, realizing when he comes home that she needs him to kiss her so she can fall asleep, a demand that her husband isn’t too upset to fulfill.
25. Fence
The fence between Jinki’s house and Junghee’s is just tall enough for her to stand on her tiptoes and kiss him without being caught by their parents, a fact that Junghee uses to her constant advantage.
26. If only I could make you mine
In high school, when he was only a rebellious singing hopeful, Jonghyun would’ve never imagined that he’d wake up each morning and say good night each night with a kiss from his inspiration, Eunsook the pretty school president.
27. Overflow
The amount of paperwork on Jinki’s desk is atrocious but Jinki never seems to notice it because Junghee somehow always manages to turn up while he’s doing paperwork and he ends spending more time learning the taste of her lips than filling out the numerous pages.
28. Wada Calcium CD3
Jonghyun spends hours attempting to find the perfect prenatal vitamins and when he finally comes home with a suitable bottle, Eunsook yanks it out of his hands and throws it aside, but he can’t bring himself to mind because of how her lips are seemingly super-glued to his.
29. The sound of waves
Jinki loved the beach and that’s why they got married there, even though Junghee is afraid of the sea, but when Jinki kisses her and lifts her up in his arms after the ceremony, Junghee isn’t so scared anymore.
30. Kiss
Jonghyun laughs as his grandson points to the sprig of mistletoe above their heads and without missing a beat, he leans over and kisses Eunsook just like he’s been doing everyday for the past thirty years.
