So once again it's christmas time, which means of course, forced family time.
And as much as I was looking forward to it like 3 days ago, I kinda started hating it. I just wanted it to go away and come back when I was in a better mood, and trust me - i was in a pissy mood. But it came none-the-less and I went up to my dads this christmas.
We get to spend it with my stepmoms family - aunts uncles and cousins - but thats ok i think this family is pretty awesome. Other news - they told me my cousin had fallen in the bathroom and smacked her head on the bathtub and now she has like 7-9 siezures every day. Scary, but not too bad like all that happens is her eyes roll up into her head and she seems to fall asleep for like 4min. Then she wakes up and doesn't know where she is, and then gets very drained by it all. But still it freaks me out, poor girl. But fuck does she ever milk it ... on our way to church she screamed "i get the front seat because I have epilepsy!" That was also her reason for wanting the good bed, getting to open a present, eat extra cookies, not sing carols with us, and not have to do dishes. The one time she came out of it, she only said she wanted a toblerone lol. Ah well whatever helps her cope i guess.
Other news ... my cousins are growing too damn quick! And to think they'll be two years older when we do this again *sob*
For mass we went to a church near my uncles and omfg it was so wierd. I mean i've been to catholic places before so i know the whole kneel-sit-stand-chant.inaudiable.word.in.latin-thing that they do but this one was so tiny. And the people just felt like doing their own thing. The leaders of the congregation would kneel, but then everyone in the audiance stood and after a while they just shrugged and stood too. Which was pretty funny. We kind of led ourselves. Then the minister told his boring story blah blah blah jesus, virgin, stable, wisemen blah blah. Then the awesome part -
he said he wanted to wish us a merry christmas but couldnt say it any better than this - and he put a stuffed donkey with a mexican hat on the pew thing where he talks and put his mike next to it and it sang - " Feliz Navadad - I wanna wish you a merry christmas". I for one loved it.
Then he handed out chocolate at the end of the sermon, which i thought was so much better than the charity net-on-a-pole thing they usually do lol.
