IMAGINE BREAKER explanation and permission post

Sep 06, 2010 12:06

Warning: This post contains spoilers for pretty much all of the first season of index and a few parts of railgun. You can probably watch railgun and still be surprised as Touma isn't a main character there. However this completely spoils index. If you were planning on watching this series I suggest taking the time to watch it before reading this if ( Read more... )

This could be interesting, considering everything about Erika shouldn't exist, as you know. Even the human 'Furudo Erika' shouldn't exist. SHE ALREADY NEGATED HER EXISTENCE ONCE but what's one more time?

As for the angel thing, I think I can apply that to Maka. She has the soul of an angel and she just regained it, so I think having her have an unexplainable fear and paranoia of Touma would be kind of hilarious and interesting.

fff yeah Touma has the ability to potentially use his imagine breaker to make Erika and Maka no longer exist. But as long as they don't touch each other everything should be cool.

Erika's going to touch it.

She wants to touch it.

She wants to touch it, Touma. Let her touch it.

FFF ERIKA...

Well I'm assuming I'd be the same as a death and that Erika would wake up in her bed the next day.

Nagi will probably easily figure out that he needs to fling things at Touma to hurt him.

Muraki's memory-sealing, should it get approved, requires touch to work, so he's screwed!

USELESS AGAINST BEETS

You should it's one of my favorite series right now. And it's pretty underrated as a whole, Railgun is more popular than Index is.

I wonder if I could get away with Taiga regaining beets o3o

Heheh, I gotta admit, I watched Railgun first... But Miss Index is winning me over verrry quickly.

If you're running out of regains go for it =3= I kind of have for Touma already.

I think Railgun was more popular because Misaka is more likable than Touma is as a main character. A lot of people find Touma to be annoying. Plus Lesbianism. But Index is such a cute character ;u; NE NE TOUMA

Lucas and Susan's powers would be obliterated! Susan is human enough to not be completely wiped out. Lucas was always human.

I am not sure how Yuki would deal with this if touched. Does 'supernatural' include other (data-based) life forms that evolved separately from organic ones? Or maybe more familiarly, sentient robots? Her powers are 'natural' in the sense that they aren't magical or psychic. However, she operates by different natural laws because she can see data and manipulate it -- Kinda like rewriting a program except the program is the world.

Being destroyed requires special circumstances that I know Lucas and Susan don't have so that's nothing to worry about. Yuki also shouldn't be destroyed by these means.

I know all about Yuki's powers (I'm a huge fan of her and have roleplayed her in the past) and she's actually a really tough case. I guess because Yuki's powers interfere with the natural laws that should exist Touma's abilities should work on Yuki. It really is more of a case by case basis though.

I think the main thing Yuki has going for her is that he'll probably be completely unaware of what she's up to. He has no way to sense weird things without seeing them with his own eyes. So unless Yuki turns a chair into a table right before his eyes Touma won't know what's going on.

Yuki is very likely to be strong enough to stalemate, I think. Either way, it's not likely they'll be fighting at all so it's probably not too important to think about. =X

Probably not! But it's still really fun to theorize about stuff like this.
