*It's getting closer and closer to summer and it's been way too hot outside for Touma. So he's taken it upon himself to find some 50's styled swimware... although these trunks where the only thing he could find. He's hoping he's lucky enough not to run into anyone else but it is a really hot day outside. He's bound to not be the only one with the

[Crowe's at the pool, as he is every day, swimming countless laps, practicing holding his breath. Except instead of wearing embarrassing 50s swimtrunks, he's...fully clothed, in his gym outfit. He'll stop when he sees Touma come in, and waves from in the pool.]

*Touma looks up, and is embarassed.

Well, until he sees what Crowe has on. He curses himself for not thinking of the same thing.*

Where's your swim trunks?

Oh, uh, in my locker actually. I know this looks a bit ridiculous, but, Coach says blitzball's played fully-clothed. I can't believe they don't wear wetsuits or something...

*Touma is actually thinking it was a pretty good idea but he doesn't want to call attention to his loltastic trunks. So he brings up something completely different.*

What is blitzball? I haven't heard of it before.

It's this... crazy sport I somehow got myself into. It's sort of like underwater soccer. You should come check out practice sometime! easier to show people than explain it... especially when Jecht is showing off.

Sure, I wouldn't mind having something else to do in this place.

Great! I'll have to let Jecht know then. He'll be glad to see someone else interested. I won't lie though, he's pretty rough. But never in my life did I ever think I'd be able to swim this well, so that's something.

If you're going to talk big you might as well come in so you can show off a little bit too.

[He looks a bit embarrassed - he most certainly wasn't trying to boast. But he chuckles, and shrugs.] Ha, alright. Time me!

[Crowe dives in, and quickly swims a lap. Even fully clothed, he does it very quickly. Crowe's been faithfully practicing swimming, blitzball AND combat every day for weeks now, and he's been getting whipped into shape.]

*Touma watches and... suddenly feels really out of shape, despite being rather toned.*

[He finishes the lap, coming over near Touma, looking expectant.] Alright! What was my time?

I don't have a stopwatch in my head.

ah, well I thought maybe-- ah, nevermind. Not important. I'm hoping my timing's getting better. Been practicing a lot, but swimming is tough work.

If you bought a stopwatch I wouldn't mind timing you.

*It's not as if Touma has anything better to do and he doesn't mind spending time in the pool everyday like this.*
