Very good news! I got a court date for the divorce!!!! November 1 at 8:45pm. Of course, that's the day Mercury goes direct & will be at a near standstill, so I expect there will be delays, omissions, etc.
Been studying it for about 10 years. I know not everyone buys it, but I've seen enough instances of certain regular celestial events make certain aspects of many peoples' lives go screwy to make me a believer. Anything with enough gravity to hold its place in the solar system probably has a pull on my handful of watery atoms, too. Just ask anyone in an ER on a full moon. I don't expect you to agree with me, though, don't worry.
I was very much into Tarot cards all through college (please to note tattoo of three of pentacles on my right wrist) and they were scary accurate ... until I realized that was scary was not the cards, but how effectively they prompted people to reveal very personal information about themselves. A big part of reading the cards is reading their reactions to what you are telling them when you are reading the cards. The human condition is so rich and nuanced; any one of 78 scenarios can be applied to fit any given situation to a startling degree. I suspect astrology is pretty much the same way. Which is not to say there's any less wonder in the cosmos, only that the wonder is inherent within the human condition.
Good for you and about time. I thought that you'd already been divorced. My divorce was a right pain. (Just read the old posts about it.) Hopefully it will go smoothly for you and your lawyer can agree with his lawyer and the judge just say "That was easy! Who's up for some lunch?"
I used to worry about all my friends that get divorced and finally realized it's all part of life. Although it's a bugger to work through it all. Let me know how you're holding up during the process.
oh it's no big deal, just a bunch of signed paperwork and bureaucratic hoop-jumping. There aren't even any lawyers involved. We've been separated since '03 so all the animosity has long since drained away & these days our parenting relationship is about like our marriage was, which says a lot about the quality and depth of our marriage, but basically means it's not very stressful (though also not very meaningful). No worries!! The real joy is that J & I can finally tie the knot this spring, and I can cease living in the white trash glory that is being simultaneously married and engage.
