Now that the Biggest Douche in the Universe is gone, there is one thing remaining about my job that really gets to me: being hung up on. For some reason, in New Jersey & Philadelphia when you tell someone something they don't like, they feel that it's ok to hang up on you. So. Damn. Rude. What's so wrong with basic polite social intercourse?
Update: the boss just talked to the latest hang-upper & the guy wasn't upset at all, just said ok and hung up. Which is slightly better but not really. What's so freakin' hard about "goodbye"?
I don't remember *ever* being hung up on in Missouri.
