Today has been pretty good! FIRST OFF, I TOTALLY made it to Best Buy and snatched up a copy of "The Best of Designing Women" DVD and I watched it all the way through. It is EFFING fabulous, of course. But I was disappointed that there were only five episodes on it. Don't get me wrong, it was worth every penny and I will probably buy a backup copy because I am OVERLY in love with this show, just that after five episodes you are totally hypnotized by it and you're starving for more. Granted, Mozark and Tri-Star, I'm sure knows that and that's the reason why, so you'll go buy the next DVD (if, and) when it comes out, but they've nothing to worry about. I will buy EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. I hope they'll put it out season by season. Whee!! I'm still experiencing DW euphoria.
My brother brought his dog Daisy over to stay with us til Dad gets out of the hospital to keep our spirits up and keep us chipper. She does that to people. Sweet baby. So we've all been playing with her all night and plus we got my mom to go to dinner with all of us because she never hangs out with us outside of the house. She doesn't even leave the house without my dad unless it's to go to work, so it was nice to be together... WITHOUT Crystal! Everything went SPLENDIDLY and we got her 2 fruity frozen drinks which rendered her terminally giggly. We loved it. MmMm, Olive Garden has great daiquiris. Mom had a Piña Colada and something else that tasted like an orange creamcicle, I had a strawberry daiquiri, Fred and Rob both had beers, and Fred and Melissa shared a glass of wine. The booze bill itself was $20. Haha. Damn Irish blood shines through.... and we love it.
My neck is still so sore! I can hold my head up, but not comfortably. And it's not just the muscles in the back of my neck either, even the ones in the front on either side of my esophagus. I need to watch the headbanging. LOL. My throat kills too. Hopefully that's from screaming at the bar and I'm not getting sick. That's what ya get. I don't care I had a fawkin' nice day for once in a LONG ass time. Not a nice few hours of the day. A nice WHOLE day. Imagine that. Wow.
