Ok here we go.

Ok first go to "Change Journal Theme", and change it to any one of the smooth sailing themes.

Then click "Customize Journal Theme" and go down to where it says "Custom CSS"

Where it says Use layout's stylesheet(s) change it to No

Then below it, where it says Use layout's stylesheet(s when including custom external stylesheet change it to No as well.

Then download the text doc with the code: http://www.sendspace.com/file/1qrpe7

Then copy and paste the code where it says, "Custom stylesheet"
Once you have copy and pasted the code, click "save changes"

Next in the "Customize Journal Theme" menu, go to Page Text
and scroll down to where it says Text for the footer at the bottom of the page

And in there type: layout by illusionary@livejournal.com

Click "Save Changes"

And then you have your youkai hakkai theme. :) if you have any problems please feel free to message me. ^-^

Thanks so much! I'll have to get jedishampoo to help me with this as I'm such a computer retard that I've been stymied by step one (I can't find a "smooth sailing theme" on the settings page...)but she should be able to walk me through it.
Excellent class project. How cool is that..? (Did you get an "A" I hope?)
