So yeah, I'm on break right now (until January 8th!! ^__^), and it's pretty nifty!
I went to Catherine's yesterday. We watched "Take the Lead" which is a GREAT movie, btw. I really like dancing movies and teachers-making-a-difference movies, and this had both elements in it, making it doubly awesome! The scene where there was an overhead view of everyone doing the waltz was SO beautiful. It made me melt. I want to learn how to ballroom dance! The movie also really solidified my want to be a teacher, though I still have some more things to decide on, such as, like what teacher I want to be, haha. I'm taking journalism next semester, and if I like it, I could double major in journalism and education and I could have more choice at a job. But that's only if I like the journalism class and the jobs they offer. I was looking at packaging jobs yesterday, and at least 90% of the jobs sound dead boring to me. They are too business/engineering (as much as I love engineers :D) inclined for me. If I were more left brained I would definitely shoot for being a engineer, but that's not the case. For now, I'm using the journalism class to help me decide my major and to improve my writing skills and my confidence in my work.
Anyways, I decided on a new deck... I'm still growing into it, but I know for sure that this is it.

http://www.playingcardsales.co.uk/cards/moreimages/14237_6_tarot_metamorphosis.jpgI'm really attracted to the Temperance and Queen of Pentacles cards in this deck for some reason. Yeah, I know, some/all of the images are on crack, but that's what makes it so awesome! :) Some of the images are a bit WTF but I seriously think I'm just growing into the deck, still, and it will take some more time.
Anyways, I think this break will kick major ass. I don't have to do ANYTHING for school. I admit, I'm bored more often than I was (never really ran out of things to do when school was going on) but at least it's relaxing! :) I can't wait until I see all my friends I don't usually get to see at MSU! :D
Well, I have to prepare myself for going out to dinner with Priya, so, later!
