Haven't written an entry in a while, so I might as well.
So... I'm doing pretty shitty in math. I am getting tutoring today. I think it should put me up to speed, and I think I should do awesome on the next test (but I thought that last time...). Otherwise, my other classes are coming along swimmingly. But ew, I have three tests this week because it's the middle of the semester (... already? o_O)!
I'm going home on the 20th for the weekend. Watching the football game marching band, then the fall TTE show, and other silliness with friends. I really do miss home. I haven't been back in a while. Don't think I'll be spending much time in Troy around Thanksgiving, since I think I'll be dragged to Ohio for most of the time. Hopefully, though, I'll have a couple days to spend in Troy, maybe the weekend after Thanksgiving. Who knows.
I've learned a lot about myself the past two months ever since I got here. I'm making more progress than I ever did in a whole year of high school. But it's understandable, because college is way more demanding than what was the status quo last year. But it makes me glad. I'm getting way more out of life that way. Living life is quite nice! Sure, there are flareups of drama most definitely, but it actually passes quite quickly, and if it isn't my drama, I'm pretty good at keeping myself an arm's length away from it. My drama mindset that carried over from high school has degraded quite rapidly ever since I got here. Nothing matters as much as it used to; I'm much more emotionally detached. Though I admit, I did have some hard days. But I got through it, and that's all that matters.
There are some things I miss about high school, but I am quite settled in college at this point, though obviously nothing is perfect (like my math grade, haha). That's okay, though. I really am fine with it. Things always turn out to be fine, especially when you try for better results.
And all the while I've been smitten with someone. But I won't say who. :P Never know though, still a lot of people at MSU I haven't met... things could change. ;)
