a really boring day became a really fun day.

I thought I'd be sitting home doing like, nothing. Especially after my mom called me saying that it was gonna snow a foot here and it would be best for me not to go out over the weekend, especially to drive myself. She said she would come back on Monday, rather than tomorrow, when she was origanally going to come back, because of the weather. Then, right after that phone call, my dad calls and says his car stalled and had to get it towed. So I had to drive to the Honda Dealer and pick him up. And while he was filling out a form Sarah called me and asked me if I could go ice skating. I said yes, of course, but of course, I had to get home first. So dad finished his form and dropped off his keys, and he filled up my car with a full tank of gas. :D After I got home I changed clothes slightly for skating (my current clothes I thought were a little too dressy for skating) and the moving land fortress drove me, Sarah, Sasha, and Michelle to the Troy Sports Arena. We were a little late for the open skate, but that was okay. We still got at least an hour of skating in. It was sooo much fun. I was a little rusty but I remembered the very basic basics anyways and I could pull them off decently. I can still do the shoot the duck and get up from it without falling on my ass (but it's not like that didn't happen at all...). Anyways, Rebecca, who recently arrived back from MSU, picked us all up, dropped Sasha and Michelle off at their residences, then took me and Sarah back to her house. (Well, Sarah kind of had to go with us... Rebecca and Sarah are sisters... lol.) Anyways, Rebecca and I sat around and looked through the millions of MSU broshures Rebecca has procured over time, especially from her special honors tutuorial program thingee she just got back from. Then we watched some episodes of That 70s Show, and Rachel called us with plans for tonight. So Rebecca and I drove over to Rachel's and met up with Catherine, Rachel, Alison, and Ross. (Ross was the only guy again... haha.) It was kind of funny... today is Rachel's real birthday but this wasn't her real birthday party... that's going to take place later this month... haha.

Anyways, me, Rebecca, Rachel, and Catherine played the Polly Pocket board game while Alison and Ross looked on in disgust. Then Rebecca, Rachel, Catherine, and Ross played the CSI game... which we didn't end up finishing... while switching back and forth between Annie and Ms. Congeniality, which were both on TV at the same time. It was ridiculous... Ross and Rachel kept using Ross's phone to play his ringtones, like We Like to Party, and Another One Bities the Dust... and we put Annie on mute during their sing and dance numbers, and sometimes their dancing matched in time with the music. It was sooooo funny! (Can you say future YTMND?? ;D) Oh yes, there was much throwing around of Mini Reese's Cup wrappers and Raisinets. And the CSI game pieces were reduced a Raisinet (later a clarinet reed), a miniature plastic model of Starmie (Ross randomly found it stuck between the couch he was sitting on, I swear!), foil wrapper, and that paper stuff that you take off right before eating the Reeses Cup.

Today was nice. I was kind of depressed earlier today but getting out of the house and laughing like a silly helped. But... crud. Still have homework. I hate it when after you have a bunch of fun, you have a bunch of work left to do. Well I'll (hopefully) get it done before lazer tag/Alison's birthday thingee tomorrow.

See you sillies later! And yay for Rachel and Alison both becoming 18 this weekend!
