Haven't posted song lyrics for a while... these are some of my favorite songs at the moment... some I can kinda relate to, some others... well, are just plain insane and that's the way I like it. :D

A Whale of a Tale... yes this is from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea... a Disney movie... hee. Damn Rebecca for getting me addicted to Disney songs...

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
'Bout the flappin' fish and the girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

There was Mermaid Minnie, met her down in Madagaskar
She would kiss me, any time that I would ask her
Then one evening her flame of love blew out
Blow me down and pick me up!
She swapped me for a trout

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
'Bout the flappin' fish and the girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

There was Typhoon Tessie, met her on the coast of Java
When we kissed I bubbled up like molten lava
Then she gave me the scare of my young life
Blow me down and pick me up!
She was the captain's wife

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
'Bout the flappin' fish and the girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

Then there was Harpoon Hannah
Had a look that spelled out danger
My heart quivered when she whispered
'Hi there stranger'
Bought her trinkets, that sailors can't afford
And when I spent my last red cent
She tossed me over board

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
'Bout the flappin' fish and the girls I've loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it's all true
I swear by my tattoo

This one I sure have related to for a damn long time...pretty much word for word... anyways, everyone, listen to the Avenue Q songs! They are excellent. (And this is one of them in case you haven't noticed already... :D)

There's a fine, fine line between a lover and a friend;
There's a fine, fine line between reality and pretend;
And you never know 'til you reach the top if it was worth the uphill climb.

There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time.

There's a fine, fine line between a fairy tale and a lie;
And there's a fine, fine line between "You're wonderful" and "Goodbye."
I guess if someone doesn't love you back it isn't such a crime,
But there's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of your time.

And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore.
I don't think that you even know what you're looking for.
For my own sanity, I've got to close the door
And walk away...
Oh...

There's a fine, fine line between together and not
And there's a fine, fine line between what you wanted and what you got.
You gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime...

There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time.

From Disney to Avenue Q to... Dead Kennedys. I have the most obscure taste in music. :D Anyways, this one is called Moon Over Marin. It's probably one of my most favorite punk songs. It's oddly hopeful in a way.

The crowded future stings my eyes
I still find time to exercise
In uniform with two white stripes

Unlock my section of the sand
It's fenced off to the water's edge
I clamp a gasmask on my head

On my beach at night
Bathe in my moonlight

Another tanker's hit the rocks
Abandoned to spill out its guts
The sand is laced with sticky glops

O' Shimmering moonlight sheen upon
The waves and water clogged with oil
White gases steam up from the soil

On my beach at night
Bathe in my moonlight

I squash dead fish between my toes
Try not to step on any bones
I turn around and I go home

I slip back through my basement door
Switch off all that I own below
Dive in my scalding wooden tub

My own beach at night
Electric Moonlight

There will always be a moon
Over Marin

Gah! I almost forgot! This is the best one out of all of them!

here's a llama
there's a llama
and another little llama
fuzzy llama
funny llama
llama llama
duck

llama llama
cheesecake
llama
tablet
brick
potato
llama
llama llama
mushroom
llama
llama llama
duck

i was once a treehouse
i lived in a cake
but i never saw the way
the orange slayed the rake
i was only three years dead
but it told a tale
and now listen, little child
to the safety rail

did you ever see a llama
kiss a llama
on the llama
llama's llama
tastes of llama
llama llama
duck

half a llama
twice the llama
not a llama
farmer
llama
llama in a car
alarm a llama
llama
duck

is THIS how it's told now?
is it all so old?
is it made of lemon juice?
doorknob
ankle
cold
now my song is getting thin
i've run out of luck
time for me to retire now
and become a duck

Anyways, I think I've found temporary balance in my life. Things could be a little better but I'm doing pretty fine now.

I think I'm really turning into more of a geek than I used to be. I'm not close to being an ultimate geek, but give me a couple more years. :)

Oh, I think I'm getting 4 As and 2 Bs for this last semester! Yay! I found out today I got an A- in physics, like barely (as in 89.6)... THANK YOU ASHLEY AND EXTRA CREDIT AND DUMB LUCK!! THERE IS A GOD! Yay for finally having a 3.5 now! And it should be super easy to keep for another quarter. :)

So yeah, I can't decide still between U-M and State. I'm sending my semester grades to U-M sometime soon. I mean, I definitely sent my deposit in for State already, and they have a program I might major in that isn't at U-M, and plus Becca and (maybe Cat) and other cool people will be going there. And if I score well on my English Lit AP and if I decide to take the English Language AP test too, and I score well on both, I'll nearly have almost a year's worth of credits already and I'll be almost a sophmore when I start out. That could be good and bad.

I still will have some friends at U-M but I might be a little bit more left out there, and I might struggle more trying to keep my grades up. Also, unless I get a 4 or 5 on my English AP tests, they won't accept any of my AP credits (they only accept 4s and 5s, and I have two 3s and a 2 so far...). However, I <3<3<3<3<3 downtown Ann Arbor and U-M is a bit better in quality of a school compared to State, and U-M might do me more good when it comes to finding a good job. U-M might be a bit harsher on me, but it could motivate me a lot more to work harder and strive towards my goals. If I do transfer schools, I would like to rather go from State to U-M because if I go from U-M to State it feels like I'm giving up or something, like U-M is too hard for me. I know that really isn't very true to most people, but it feels like that to me.

I'll see how this pre-orientation in February for State goes, and I should go back to U-M, too, probably on a more official tour, too... and if I get rejected from U-M (or put on the wait list) the decision will have been made for me, at least.

Decisons decisons decisons.

Oh crap... that's right. I still have hw to do. Hee.

*dances to "The Ugly Bug Ball" before going off to do hw... damn you charming Disney music!*
