When Christmas was the most exciting time of year. [yupity yup. I also liked my birthday, too.]

Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better. [I would like, burst into tears everytime I fell when I was little...]
It was a big deal to finally be tall enought to ride the 'big people' rides at the fair. [oh yes, growing up tall was a big deal then. I remember in third or fourth grade when we were talking about our weights and heights, and the tallest, heaviest person would be soooo cool.]
When playing Nintendo was the hardest thing ever. [It wasn't THAT hard. But I never finished any of the games... well, I did. Just not Mario.]
