Oh WOW

GONZO's Romeo x Juliet looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Seriously, WOW. 0_0 The animation is fluid, the character designs are sweet (bishi Shakespeare characters!), and the music sounds fantastic. Symphonic orchestra style with Satou Junichi as the sound director! Satou Junichi!! One of the greatest shoujo anime directors ever! :D

And, oh my goodness, if I read the Japanese news on the site correctly, I think the music was actually all recorded in Australia by the Eminence Symphony Orchestra!! We all know the Eminence Symphony Orchestra, right? The one that performs anime songs in symphony style in the Eastern states with famous Japanese conductors, etc. That's soooo cool!!!! Waaah~~~, I can't get over how amazing it is that the Japanese directors came all the way down here to record the music for their show! Argh, I wish Eminence would perform over here too! ;_;

The OP theme 「祈り~You Raise Me Up~」by Lena Park is really pretty as well! I think, given time and the context of the show, it could make me cry.

And the manga serialization is starting in ASUKA (from 24th March), which means it'll be SHOUJO! ^________^ (FYI, ASUKA was the magazine that CLAMP's X was also serialized). Artwork looks cute!

*takes a deep breath*

I was also looking at the trailer for El Cazador de la Bruja which is Mashimo Kouichi latest offering. And I'm sad to say, it seems he's using the exact same formula as he been doing since Noir: 2 girls, guns, "hidden" pasts and secrets. XD But it does also feature awesome music by Kajiura Yuki, which is always a plus. I'll probably check it out just because my nostalgia for Noir is so strong. And for Kajiura's music, of course. ^^

Speaking of which, I downloaded the Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) Shin Kyuuseishu Densetsu OST, and her music for it is actually a little different. It sounds more subtle and foreboding, sort of like her Gundam Seed Destiny stuff with Sahashi Toshihiko, except not so orchestra sounding. It sounds more, I dunno...tribal, maybe? XD It suits the show, I suppose. ^^;;

Lastly, I was just reminded that this weekend is the 2007 Tokyo International Anime Fair. Last year I was there and it was AWESOME, this year I'm ... here.

*cries*
