Fighting the Good Fight

So I found out that the entire problem I was having with my eyes was not computer-related and not an allergic reaction.  It seems I have contracted viral keratitis...the eyes turn red, burn, and grow bumpy.  It feels like someone shoved my face into a burning sandbox.  I now have to put an ointment on my eyes every night before bed for a week, and I have anesthetic eyedrops to dull the burning so I can function as a person.

I'm really pumped. I don't know what for, but I have this burst of adrenaline that's just been idling for the past couple of days.  Like something big's coming up, only nothing big's coming up.  Next weekend is the racetrack, though.  I'm looking to walk out of there with double what I went in with.

Harvard sent me an application, and I see why now's the time to get started...they're fucking novels, not including the essays.  I also need to fix my transcript, because it says I didn't do Scholastic Bowl freshman year.

Wednesday paste-up for the newspaper has me really excited, especially considering that I'll be the last person to leave.  Thursday's late day, so we get an extra hour to sleep :D  The problem? Scholastic Bowl.  I have no idea what Mr. Prorak has up his sleeve for his glorious return to the world of varsity Schol Bowl, but it's something good.  And it probably involves practices.
