Linthara - Light Save Them All.

I am shamed of people within my race.

They seem to not wish to learn from their mistakes and are willing to retread the same mistakes and errors of the past. Faitima's twisted views seem to almost be singing a gospel in the errors they make. I can hear her now as I listen to the Elder Goretotem, 'They will continue to dance to their own destruction Linthara, you cannot save them from themselves'.

Allies who once spoke of respect now bite and accuse me of acting within Sin. I fear these times ahead will test me as they tested me before as Knight Lord. I will not waver, I will not bend. I will stand up against the judgement and face it. I must keep my calm and not be tempted into lashing out. Even madmen claim to have wanted the best for their people, I am no madman..... I am no madman, I have done nothing maddening but speak of understanding and respect to others. Granted there are those I myself do not respect, but I will be respectful towards them as I can. But even the most respectful paladin can get chipped away at in their feelings. Even the most devout can lose their tempers at situations.

This 'Solune' so many I have asked on the matter have never heard of this 'God of the Sun'. If this is the name of An'she spoken differently it feels wrong. I have spoken many a time with the Sunwalkers of An'she and I have felt its warmth. Solune feels nothing like this. It feels wrong, there is no love and warmth from it's blessings. I do not want it near me or my regiment. I have fought to keep my group out from under the thumbs of those that would wrong them, or force them into fighting for a cause that was not right.

This Regiment I have molded with my own hands. They are Goldenmist. They are my new family. It was never my intention but I will protect the this 'child' I have created. Those that seek to work along side of me for a cause they deem worthy as well. I will not see them tainted by Solune's Light. I will not see them fall to the Twilight.

The Elder said the most important thing is Self. While his words ring for a sense of truth, I choose to give of myself to others. I choose to want for myself and from my being to protect others. I will do all it takes to see that no civilian, no innocent is harmed in the battle of war. I fight away from villages, away from people so no one else gets hurt. I do not do this for fame or for Glory. I do it for myself.
