Four months had passed since the Sin'dorei female left the world as she knew it behind. Family, children, those who relied upon her strength to be there for them. She had to, it was never in her nature to be selfish, always doing for others despite the personal harm it might have caused her. Linthara Illu'noir laid back on shades of green country side she had never seen before. Ethereal and eternal, so vibrant and full of life, she had no idea how to get to such a place again, a small secret by the man who loaned her a key, and the Drake who allowed her to ride upon it's back to reach. For now she laid there limbs stretched out across the field her hair splayed out behind her like some sort of pale tressed halo.
The only looming shadow she had to worry for came not in the face of a dragon wishing to ruin the world. Nor did it come in the form of the beast like dragon that bore the Sovereign of the Forgotten upon it's back, This shadow came in the form of another elf, this one larger then she was but only in a good way. She smiled warmly as her lover gently placed his hand upon her midsection, his lips pressed against her own.
Vayren smiled warmly at his wife as she laughed at his attempts to get her to do so. Four month and one year ago he would have been in this same sort of place with her. Living within Quel'thalas overlooking and watching their regiment, and having but a small care in the world. Only raising their first child several months later. Alas fates had not been kind to both of them, but this time ushered in no mistakes. This time there wasn't any thing to get between them, they had this time together to do things right.
"You have that look on your face my consort.... " she replied grinning while touching the sides of his face.
His eyebrow arched slightly before returning the smirk, "Consort mm? So when did you start using that term?"
"Light, Vayren... I've been teasing you like so since I first understood the dragons a bit better..... " Linthara leaned her head back against the landscape. Gently she pulled him to join her on his side then buried her face in against his broad chest, "Besides..... Consort. Husband. What difference does it make what name I call you while we are together?"
He smirked at her words leaning in once more to capture her lips with his own. She smiled at this lightly touching his chest as her warmth passed over him. Vayren looked down at her hands and returned the gesture before asking softly, "Are you sure you should be showing off this late?"
"Mm..... answer me this does it feel different?"
Watching his wife, the male Sin'dorei smirked, "You ask that a thousand times over my Heart..... yes.... it does."
Linthara grinned closing her eyes once more, "And I will ask a thousand more until I am certain this is no dream.... none of it."
"I would pinch you but I'm not." he teased holding her hips with his rough hands. "But I would not risk you or our daughter growing upset with me for doing so?"
The former Knight-Lord laughed a bit before gently grabbing his face, "You are so certain it is a girl..... why my love?"
"Because I truly do not wish for a son.... but regardless I will love our child the same." he smirked at her, at least for now letting her have the upper hand in this discussion. Moving from his position above her he took a place at her side reaching over to brush her hair away from the side of her face. "I will admit you look healthier here then you have since I met you... this time away from everything was exactly what you needed."
"But...." she started only to be silenced by his finger tips upon her lips. Linthara smiled closing her eyes briefly, "Okay.... Okay I wont' regret it I promise... " Her hands rested against his chest as she looked into his eyes. She had wished to ask him to go back and help the others. She knew he would, but this was the one time they could both be selfish with their wishes. Smiling softly her eyes closed pushing away all doubt and worry over the reactions of others. This was a time for them to live life as it should have been.
