On Friday afternoon, I was still awake from the day prior, (so it has been around 24hrs since I'd last slept). I went and got my photo taken for my Proof og Age card, which I was happy about. Then my friend Scotty rang and invited me up to his place for tea and drinks and whatnot.
So, I went up. Scotty is awesome fun I love him to peices! I managed a three hour nap, then I was summond back up for drinks at around 2am. So i'd been drinking and stuff, had like 2 glasses, big woop! 8am came, and I was walking down to find Scotty at the other end of the house, and BLAM. I dropped my cup.
Not very sinister you say? Well. From here on is what Scott told me that happened. I appologised for breaking the cup and he said it was fine and asked me to step away, but I didn't respond. He looked up at me and I was just white. Then, blam. I went straight to the floor. I was unconcious, even though scott said I wasn't. He said I didn't respond to him talking to me.
It was all over pretty quickly as far as I know. I awoke to my face in a pool of my own blood, asking what happened, asking where the blood was coming from. Scotty said my chin and mouth. So I went to the bathroom and lo and behold, an inch long, inch deep laceration/tear on the underside of my chin, pissing out with blood.
I gargled the little peices of my teeth and tongue out of my mouth with a few swishes of water and it was off to the hospital.
We arrived and I was prepped into the emergency ward. Had an ECG, Tetnus shot, salene drip in my arm, all these misc sized stickers all over me. The doctor anesthetised me, and sticked me up while I was concious.
Seven stitches, plenty of tubes, blood/urine tests and hours later, Ellie leaves the hospital a broken girl.
All the while I did not cry or stress, I saved that for when I got back into the arms of my wonderful Sid... He caught me out crying downstairs. It finally got to me, the gravity of what had just happened. The serious injury I had sustained.. I just cried. I can't stop lately......
Before I came back home, Scotty congratulated me on how well I held it together, said he was well impressed and that I should have been in shock. Maybe I was.
Bleh, ... I whinge too much? .. I wont say anything after this, dw.
