Mmmm

Saw the Jesuit yesterday.  He invited me out to lunch pre-Mass.  I met him after breakfast and Smallville with Endy, and my meeting with a Brother.  We went to Gulu Gulu, the "new" cafe in town.  Meaning everyone has been going there for the last year and a half and I just went for the first time.  He had "chocolate and banana creepies" (a crepe with bananas and melted chocolate with walnuts on which the kitchen wrote BOO to try to make it creepy for him).  I had a roast beef and boursin spinach-wrap.  We sat outside on the patio and I drank hot mocha so I could eat jacketless.  While there, brother NTN came by with Ia ad son Max, with a Brother from Texas in tow.  He introduced us and it seems the Brother will be moving to Salem and working at Witch City Ink.  Yay!  I greeted him warmly and invited him to Mass later that day.

The Jesuit and I finshed lunch, dropped off my leftovers at the temple, stopped by WC Ink so I could make an appointment to FINALLY get some more work on my arm.  It has been too long.  Once I get this finished I can start thinking about my back piece by the talented Miss Mayhem... YAY!

We walked about Salem taking in the sight of the freaks, hand in hand, chatting away.  There were a ton of bikers in town, apparently raising money for charity...cool.  A lot of HOT Harleys.  We stopped to look longingly a few times and discussed the danger of motorcycles in Massachusetts where drivers suck, and the helmet laws fo different places I have lived, and my former penchant for dating bikers.

Went down to "his spot" on Central Wharf and removed our socks and boots (and my pants worn with a dress) and waded in the harbor in the 40 degree weather in the 40 degree water.  It was awesome.  First time I have been in the water here.  We made out there in the water with the sun shining on us and the tourists staring like we were insane.  Then we got out and while we let our feet dry in the sun, the tide went down and uncovered the deck we had been walking on.  We had just made it.

Went and stood in the triangle at the end of the wharf by the light house and watched the choppy waves from the wind and just took in the sight of Salem Harbor.  Gods, I love New England.  Gods, I hate that 50 year old coal plant.  Maybe I will help the hippies in their fight against it.  No one actually supposts anything called the Dominion anyway, right?

Went by Nu Aeon to say hi to K & Endy & our newest little Thelemite, then walked back downtown to find the Brother from Texas to bring him to Mass.  A very powerful Mass it was.  I have been loving being a congregant, able to focus solely on my own work, and not administering the virtues, but it will be nice to get back to the summit of the Earth this weekend, with a brother who is making his public debut as Priest.

Hung out after Mass and got a little tipsy and did a bunch of flirting.  Eventually the Jesuit went home to get some work done, I went up for another drink with the fam. after seeing him off, and then headed home, where I got in an episode of Smallville with Endy, read the day's chapter from A Night in Lonesome October aloud (as I have all month), and headed to bed.

Another perfect day.

He is making me dinner at his "shoebox" later this week.
