Anyways. New year! We've finally entered the second decade of this millennia. Hopefully, it will be a great decade. Time to recap. Behind a cut to avoid spoilers and such.
Doctor Who! David Tennant is no longer the Doctor. ._. How will we survive? The Eleventh Doctor is so young, and his companion is a ginger hottie. I hope it won't turn into some kind of love drama, because I can not deal with that. I trust Steven Moffat and his writing ability, but damn it, there were vampires in the trailer.
VAMPIRES.
It's like Whovian Twilight. ._. But hey, at least we get to see the Weeping Angels. And the season ending was quite good; I felt sadness when Ten said that he didn't want to go. And the companions! Rose, Jackie (<3), Jack, Sarah Jane...
Not to mention Martha and Mickey, who were married. Wtf is up with that? When did THIS happen? The former was supposed to be engaged to a pediatrician, and the latter was supposed to be in an alternate dimension. They have ruined Martha.
Donna was back! Poor thing didn't remember anything. And when she started to, a defense mechanism kicked in. She should have remembered everything, even if it meant her death. I don't hate Donna (she's flippin' awesome), but I hate what they did to her. The one female companion that wasn't in love with the Doctor, and they erase her memory. RTD, sometimes I feel like slapping you.
The Master! Wow. The whole Master Race thing scared me a bit, and the Timelord appearance was a fiasco. Journey's End was better, but The End of Time was still above average.
I miss Glee. ._. Been listening to the songs, but it isn't enough. And I keep singing Defying Gravity. Is this a sign? I can never hit those high notes, though. My vocal chords hurt.
And here is something I made for a forum signature competition. Took me days to finish, and it got me second place. I'd deal with it, but the the winning entry was shit. Really. Not being biased.
Oh yeah. NCIS all the way. I want the new episodes now, damnit.

Fandom! I've been going crazy, reading Big Bang fics. Over 20k words and incredibly well-written? Try to stop me. I am amazed at how talented these people are. Amazed, and highly envious. The SGA BB and SPN BB are amazing. I've actually started to read J2 RPS, but only AU - otherwise it would be too creepy. And even then, I feel dirty. But they are so inredibly well-written, I can't stop myself.
I've also discovered a Gabriel/Sam community.

Thanks to hils for introducing me to this. It's nice to see Sam being paired up with someone besides his brother, the devil or a demonic bitch. It helps that Jared and Richard are very hot men. It really does. (also, talent! Richard Speight Jr is awesome as the Trickster/Gabriel.)
I should try finishing my own lousy fic.

So. Gaming. I've been downloading games from the PSN (damn those costs). Got the faster version of FFVII, Crash Bandicoot 3 and Spyro the Dragon. Old gems. I had so much fun playing these.
FFVII is a personal favotire of mine, although I don't think it's the holy grail of gaming like some people do. It could be improved. I can deal with the graphics, but not the plot holes, dialogue problems or the lack of water and wind materia.
Also, My Hands. Yes, it is the theme for the English versions of FFXIII. Now, I don't see anything wrong with that. It's a good song, and Leona is not half bad. Some people, however, detest this decision by SE. Hell, some say they won't even finish the game because they don't want to hear the song.
To them, I say: you're fuckin' retarted. I'm sorry, but I'm going to be insulting this time around. You don't like the song?
MUTE THE FUCKING TV.

Studies. I finally handed in my take-home exams. One was easy, the other one wasn't. My constant misforture reared its ugly head; my internet crashed before I could hand in my language history exam in time. 16 hours late. SIXTEEN HOURS. I hope I don't get a F.
Still on my winter vacation, so I can chill. Awesome.

That's about it, really. Nothing interesting ever happens to me, so bleh. I DID go into town with a friend two days ago though, and that was great - I need to be more social. Not to mention that my friend rocks and has no problem with listening to me talk constantly. I notice that I never shut up.
(He's also a foot taller than me, but I've learned to live with it. Being 5'5-ish isn't so fun)
