Update!

So. It's been, what, five months? Six months? I can't tell for sure. I spend hours upon hours on Twitter, but can't update my journal.

I'm pretty much done with the spring term, if you don't count some late hand-ins. Which isn't good if you're studying to be a teacher...delays are a no-no in my profession.

Been reading comics, though (I think I just realized why I'm late with some assignments...), on my brand new iPod. Yep. I sold my soul to Apple, and damn it, it was a good decision. The iPod rocks. 32 GB's of pure awesome. I HAVE PLAYLISTS. Groovy.

Been reading Avengers, X-Factor and some random X-Men issues. My new fave pairing? Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, but only pre-Heroic Age. Here's why:

Steve is now a power-hungry bastard who decides that Tony shouldn't keep his armor, because it might not be for the best interest of the nation. Yeah. Remember all the times he saved you, Steve? All the times he gave you airlifts? Remember how you almost decapitated him with your shield in Civil War #7? And now you are the leader of the Secret Avengers, with your girlfrield, Sharon.

And yeah. I don't like Sharon. She shot Captain America, and everyone forgave her within the first five minutes. Yes, she was mind-controlled, and didn't shoot him willingly. What just ticks. me. off is that they forgave her. THEY FORGAVE HER. No one said "you did what, you miserable bitch?" to her. Not even once. If it had been someone else, they wouldn't forgive. Had it been Tony who was mind-controlled, they would have ripped him in half. Like the Sentry did to Ares. Ouch.

Instead, everyone decides to act as if Tony shot the man. Especially Luke Cage. I think he takes the sellout part a bit too far, even calling his own wife (Jessica is his wife, right?) a sellout for wanting to keep their baby safe - at Stark Tower.

The Civil War storyline was good, but Cap was a shitty man during it. Why couldn't he have listened to Tony? Stubborn fool. Instead, he used his icon status and commanded them all. And he fought dirty. That scrambler? Ouch. And those mean lines in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2? Double ouch. And yet, everyone thinks the sun shines out of his ass.

And still, that pairing kicks ass. I don't know why.

But anyways. Iron Man 2. Good movie? Hell yes. I enjoyed watching it (a week before the Americans! >=D) alot, and the post-credits scene was AWESOME. Can't wait for the Thor movie. Also, how awesome was Scarlett Johanssen as Natasha Romanoff? The fight scene was amazing. And Don Cheadle, THE War Machine. But the Tony/Pepper scenes made me barf a little. Which must have upset the guy next to me.

I've begun writing a fic, and got four pages so far (exactly 1700 words!). The main pairing will be Bucky/Tony, as it's a rare one. And would be hot. Hopefully, I won't be giving up. I even got scarletfbl (she's a chronic slasher, and that makes her grooveh in my book) as a beta. I might ask one of the betas on cap_ironman . Awesome community. Of course, the more I read there, the less self-esteem I retain.

With the cancellation of Ugly Betty and Romantically Challenged (which was entertaining), the decline of Glee and Doctor Who and the continuation of shit shows like Vampire Diaries, TV has made me sad. I don't know what to watch anymore.

And finally...games. Been playing some entertaining games on my PS3. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 was very good, and Star Ocean: The Last Hope is still entertaining. Also, Pokémon. I got SoulSilver, and a close friend got HeartGold. We trade Pokémon. Even during midnight, after having watched Iron Man 2. We're such nerds.

So, yeah. Got nothing more to write. Might post the first part of my fic soon. Who knows.
