My computer is back up and running. For reals. Got my power supply back this afternoon. Installed it right quick this time. Made sure it actually worked, and then completely disconnected my old hard drive. It's still in the case, but I really should take it out for now so that I can get some extra air flow in there until I get another hard drive. Actually, at this point I'm considering just buying an external - that way I can use it when I buy my laptop. I've been doing setup type stuff for most of tonight.
Just one more thing I want to buy this summer, and absolutely no money to do it with. Laptop, iPod, external hard drive...all some expensive shit. And I have at least 400 of planned expenses to figure out in the next month or so.
There was no Omaha trip for me today either. I tried, a little more than last time, but it just didn't work out. On the plus side, it sounds like July will be fun. Emily is gonna be back for a few weeks at some point and we'll hang when she throws her party. Also, Mary will be back in a few weeks for a weekend, and the possibility remains that we'll get together at some point in that time. Camping next weekend.
Also on this front, I talked to Eric for a little while again today. Sounds like the plan is he'll be back sometime in the early fall, although that can always change. It's been four years, which means his term is just about up. It should be up next summer. Anyways, he'll be back, and we talked about getting together and drinking and whatnot. We have a lot of time to make up for.
Talked to Angela a little bit tonight as well, after I got back from pint night. I had a good time tonight. Anywho...worries about some people. Talk remains of going to Geoff's cabin after YAR, that might turn into some kind of intervention. Yeah, if you don't know - don't ask. Even if you have some kind of idea - I think I can safely say you don't know the half of it. Not that I'm trying to sound superior or anything, but I think I may be one of the only people involved in this entire thing with an eye on both sides of the fence. How's that for not sounding superior?
