That was a wonderful speech, and I am filled with so much hope for our nation. Obama was so very gracious when he spoke about McCain, too. I really do believe that he'll work to unite the parties on many things, and really listen to both sides.
My family just watched that historic speech, and I am thrilled to have seen it.
Thank you, America. My volunteering today, and the work of all of you who volunteered throughout this campaign, and the people who voted in record numbers today, helped bring about this result, and I'm so proud to be part of it.
To those of you who aren't in America, I hope this raises America a notch in your eyes as well, and I hope and believe our nation will work for peace in the world in a way that we never have before, and that you won't mind working with us.
