Another version of
Microwave Chocolate Cake for One, stolen from Pegkerr (whom I do not know) via linky from bibliofile (whom I know). ;)
Mix together in a microwave safe bowl:
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cocoa
½ teaspoons baking powder
dash salt
some nuts (optional)
Stir in until smooth:
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
sprinkle on top:
1 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Then, take ½ cup water and heat it in the microwave. Pour it over the mixture in the bowl and microwave for 4 minutes (note: that's how long it takes in my microwave, but it depends on the microwave's power. Your mileage may vary). Top with ice cream if desired.
