I just found I could fly to London for $227 if I'm willing to fly Air Canada and have a 5 hour layover in Toronto.

Do I even have to say I would have no problem with waiting 5 hours to save 700 to 900 bucks? There are 4 flights with seats available, too. :/

Why do I have to find these deals when I'm NOT looking to travel?

Oh I just put in a random date in September and it gave me that price. I tried several services actually and there were at least a few flights in that range. o_O I was weirded out because I've only seen the flights in the $800 to $1000+ range. I had clicked on a Google ad which took me to this link that compares prices for a bunch of different travel sites: http://quicksearch.shermanstravel.com/

am trying to make my plans for europe 2009, and fares have already gone up $300 since three weeks ago. *cries*

though i will probably stick with a single carrier and nonstop flights from west coast to/from london-heathrow, just for sanity*s sake. but i feel like i should get my tickets soon.

I couldn't get over the price of flights in U.S. to other places. It was soooooo cheap in comparison to our prices. Damn Aus being so far away! :(
