*drumroll* I am back online! With a spiffy new cable modem. Yay! Naturally, I confused the poor guy by having a Mac. I quote, "We have a Mac." Geez, you'd think the fact that I don't have a PC is equivalent with a threat to security. Pish, Macaphobe.
However, it seems that I have returned to the online community just in time to be ticked off by the new layout on LJ. I'm not sure if my resolution is off or what, but this update is sloppy. The options on the bottom overlap my entry screen. *frowns*
Not much going on right now. Monthlies at work today, so I spent my morning and previous evening coding schedules. To make things that much better, one of our editors has run off the know the hell knows where for a week and a half. *twitch* I'm sure there's a reason, but man, way to plan your emergencies. Coincidence that it's during the busiest part of the month. *grumbles* It's not the first time she's done something like this. Though I'd really like to know what type of emergency calls you away for that long.
I've spent most of this week alone. Bron was hired to create a program for a company so he's been working days. I'm really happy for him. It's good to know that he has a job he enjoys. I hope that one day I can have the same privilege. But I do miss him a lot. Tonight we're eating dinner together in honor of our four month anniversary. Four months. Odd. It seems like we've been together a lot longer. I guess that's a good sign. ^_^
I'll probably update later, if work hasn't turned my brain into mush. Ja!
Edit: Any Mac users or computer savvy people on my F-list... Any idea what could be causing my problem with the update page. Basically, the options that should be in their nice little box at the bottom are overlapping my text box. It's really annoying and I wondered if it was the update itself or something I need to adjust on my computer. Currently my resolution is at 1024 x 768. I use IE 5.2...umm...iMac G3...I can't think of anything else that'd be relevant. Help? ((The first person to say get a PC gets my foot up their ass *death glare*))
