Cynicism Takes the Wheel
If there's one thing I still remember from my high school AP psychology class, it's this phrase: "N.U.T.P.O.H.S." Or, 'Never Underestimate the Power of Human Stupidity.' And with the results of the last presidential election still lingering in my mind, it's no wonder that I'm cynical. Or that the previous phrase rings so strongly in my mind. But I've learned my lesson in a fashion; there's no sense stressing and fretting over the results as they trickle in. It's out of my hands now, and all I can do is sit back and see what happens. And get enjoyment out of my own personal presidential election tradition of watching the Futurama episode, "A Head In The Pools." And no matter how this pans out, I leave you with this thought: Richard Nixon's head on a robot body, President of Earth. Things could always be worse. ;)
