Figured this was worth an update. Been to three goddamn awesome shows in the past week or so. First was Emery/From First to Last. Went with Brian, Mike, and Casey. Emery is goddamn 1337 live. Best song of the night? Definatly "Under Serious Attack". However, the best moment was when From First to Last came on stage. FFtL should change their name to "We are Emo Pussy".The moment the singer came on stage, every hot emo girl in the entire venue rushed the front, and lucky for me, I was right in the front middle. I was sandwiched between about...fifty hot girls, so much so that I couldn't even get my hand in my pocket to pull out my phone. I had to put my wading boots on, and pull out my kayak, and my oar just to get through all the emo pussy so I could leave. Good times...good times...
Next was THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TOO. Madison, Name Taken, Silverstien, and SENSES FAIL NIGGA. There was not a single bad band there that night. Casey and I went with the full intentions of killing the pit during these four songs, in no praticular order. "Cute When you Scream", "Bite to Break Skin", "Rum is for drinking, not for burning", And of course, "One Eight Seven", but it would appear that many others decided the same thing, but that was okay, we still did. Best song of the night: Is there any doubt it would be "One Eight Seven"? The best song ever written. I met all the bands, which was fucking amazing, but the one person I wanted to see, the lead singer of Senses Fail, Buddy, didn't get to talk to him. That was lame, and made me want to weep like a little girl. :(
On Friday I went to Unearth/Remembering Never with Jeff Peterson, and met up with Jesse, Lisa, Jen, Katie, Julie, and a couple others when we got there. It was a pretty damn good show, but I had to leave the front around mid show because I had gotten kicked in the eye, the nose, the lip, and just about every other place on my face, and Julie got hurt the worse, and the last time she got kicked in the head I figured it was time we took her out of the front, so Jesse and I took her upstairs, Jesse went back down shortly afterwards, but I stayed upstairs with her. Didn't want her to be all alone in stuff. Some old dude got the hell beat out of him in the pit, that was funny...Uhhh other than that. Nothin' else worth mentioning.
