Title: Todavía
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Please don't tell me you need me to tell you this is a work of fiction.
What else...: Oh, yeah. I wrote this during the emotional roller-coaster of last week and before the CL matches. So that might explain the title. It's all rambling basically. I just had a lot of feelings last week, k?

Todavía hay cosas dentro de mí que no son mías. Todavía cosas que me vienen de fuera y no me pertenecen. )

beautiful, emotional and just fits so well together.

Thank you for such a lovely comment! That's high praise considering that it's pretty much the textbook definition of these two! :) I think I have a decent grasp on the emotional part (because they're both emotionally stunted, just in slightly different ways), but I always struggle with getting things to... fit, so it's great to read that.

This was really lovely, it seemed very natural especially the dialogue. I really enjoyed reading this :)

Thank you, wow, that's fantastic to hear because I don't write a lot of fic and it's great to know it comes across as natural. I really enjoy hearing their voices in my head so the dialogue is also my favorite part to write. I just love these two!

What a beautiful, emotional, piece of writing.

It's a difficult subject matter in an emotional week but you handled it so well, it was really touching and seems so realistic to how they would talk. I really enjoyed the whole idea of Stevie rambling on in quick fir Scouse to a bemused Iker about the City fixture :)

Excellent work!

Thank you for such a thoughtful comment. I love, love, LOVE these guys and I try to be mindful of how they'd really talk to each other, I'm glad it works for whoever reads this.

Hehe, the Captain Talk can never happen (there's a video somewhere of Pepe Reina attempting to teach Iker English... it's... like watching a baby giraffe being born) but imagining it had the same effect on me as it did on Xabi. :)

Kay, I've come and read this a couple of times now, so I have to comment. I love this. There are so many perfect little details: Carra for mayor, captain pep talk, all the things Stevie thinks but doesn't say, tired in September... Well done!

Thank you, I really appreciate your comment because I'm addicted to details like that and they're the ones that stick out to me immediately in stories I like. It's a huge compliment to see that they've translated "on the page" somewhat from what they are in my head.
