my life right now can be described in one word...
Music.
I play in two school bands. Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band, both of which are competitive.
Recently Jazz Band also performed in a local show called the Rhythm and Blues Review. we played a total of six shows over five days, all in a row.
The friday after that Jazz Band played in the Sheldon Jazz Festival, a music competition; the friday after that Wind Ensemble played in South Eugene's festival, also a competition; this monday was our school's spring band concert, in which both bands performed; and yesterday Wind Ensemble played in LCC's band festival.
On top of all that i've been asked to play bass in the pit orchestra for a local theater's production of the musical Chicago. The rehearsal last night started at 7:00pm (we got home from the LCC festival earlier that day at 5:00pm) and ended at 11:15pm.
I am absolutely swamped with music. Lucky for me music is my favorite thing in the world, otherwise i might just drop dead right now.
