Last night of necro. " the blog"
So I want to give a huge thank you to those of you who came out and sent necro off in to the great beyond.... I don't think i saw it that busy in well a good six months. I missed alot of the regulars from the beginning who did not come out " irish and nation im looking at you ....lol luv you guys". But got to see alot of people i enjoy.
I missed my love who was home.. EVERYONE ASKED FOR HER... it was cute all the girls wante dto tell her congratulations on me and her getting engaged. There were about three dumb asses there but they all either left or gavbe me myspace so i was ok.
It was cute i was walking in and the Boiuncer goes " is this your first night here?" I say noi i am DJing tonight and he says " is this your first night DJing here?" I say no i was one oif the guys who started this place he says " funny i have never seen you" and i say " that would bebecause i left over 6 months ago and you didnt work here then " he kinda laighed and went " yeah good point"
So.... the DJing....
Um first set .... COMPLETE AND UTTER Failure. If you dislike me or just love seeing any one fall on there face you would have paid good money to see me step on the power cord in the DJ booth in the middle of the first 2 mins of my set....
Ron spent a blood 3 mins building me up on the mic saying how necro loves me and how i am awesome and getting people to clap .... and what do i do ... shut down the dj rig.... IT was the funniest thing ever... i just stood up and said " OK I SUCK >> LESSON ONE ON RETURNING TO DJING NEVER UNPLUGG YOUR RIG" and then started over... it was cool most of the kids who where dancing stayed out there for me... but after that song the EBM i was dropping on them did not seem to go over well and people went out side... so i went goth and that got a few feet moving ... but not alot so i say first set .. was failure but i am glad because once you fail you can only go up right?
What i reallyed thought was funny was the last song i played got a good amount of people dancing the problem with that is as every DJ knows you dont spin your last song you start it and walk away ,.... so the next person up looked like a bad ass cause they got all the dancing.. I really enjoyed that alot of my old school ebm hit i loved to play remerged in other DJ's sets last night.. what was dissheartening was that not alot of people where in a EBM mood... So i made a disscion to go all old school goth..
Second set ... FULL OF FUCKIGN WIN!!!!!!
If you werent there you missed out .... a packed floor of sweating scream GOTH kids spinnign and crying out to the gods..
I loved every minute of it reminded me why i am a DJ and how great that connection is between a good DJ and his crowd.
Ron And Tony " necro DJ's" Both insisted i come back out and Spin for them at there new night "Redemption" I told them to hit me up and we can talk about it.
I want to spin again more often... i miss it ... I AM A DJ i know this... i just hate all the drama and back stabbing that comes along with this scene so i walked away ... and it felt great .. but last night it felt even better to DJ
to comand a floor to spin music to dance ... it felt great.
If i can strike a balaance and keep the drama whores and crappy souls away from me .. i might just make a spot out there somewhere and spin init untilyou kids come along again ...

OH i forgot.. let me say a big thank you to all the people who came out to see off the necro crew. spin one last time it was my honor and joy to be a small part of it.
