So I'm going to Maine tomorrow.
Tomorrow I leave for Maine. I am extremely nervous at this feat seeing as how I will be alone flying to new york and catching another plane to Portland with a lapse of only 26 minutes. It should be interesting.
So, I thought I needed to update, I've had a few requests at my lacking usage of LJ so here I am.
I'm currently in my comp class which is the shittyest class in the history of the world, therefore I am simply using the computer instead... reminds me of those good old Petrich's humanities' project days.
Let's see... what else is new... Last night we had a choir concert... it was good but of course, nothing greater than Marshall. I made chamber choir at my school which is in some way a non-madrigal version of Marshall Singers. I also was invited to go to District 11 Honor's choir which is extremely different than Michigan Honor's choir. Instead, it's basically like your teacher chooses her highest quality singers in each section and sends them to a big district collaboration with all of the other Bests from around. Tonight, I was "hired" to sing with a quartet to perform a song to fundraise for the district 11 thinger.
Hmm... I'm in a show but it's just a little Christmas play that a theater company puts on around here. My high school is scheduled to begin Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat soon, so I'm hoping that goes alright. In the past it's basically been a parent-teacher- student thing where the kids only act and sing and nothing else but with our newly collaborated Drama Club (comprised of basically me and my friends) we're setting up set construction days, a backstage crew, makeup team, basically anything to get students involved in what should rightfully be there's to begin with.
So yeah, schools going well, AP Physics is kicking my ass as it rightfully should, I'm still adjusting to friends, but it's better now. The last show I saw was snow patrol back in september with augustana, and then Brian Vander Ark the next day so I need to get on that whole concert thing again. Next weekend I'll be in Ann Arbor and Lansing, so if anyone wants to get together in either of those places, let me know.
