Maybe I'm being picky, but this bugs the crap out of me...
I am a Due South fan and I ship Fraser/Kowalski, because hello...LOBSTERS!...and I read a lot of DS fic. BUT, I absoultely HATE when potentially good fanfic is RUINED for me before I've barely begun to read it when I see that the author has decided that they are going to refer to Kowalski as "Stan" or "Stanley" in the fic rather than by Ray! I know that technically the characters name IS Stanely Raymond Kowalski, but I'm sorry, he's RAY!Only his mother calls him Stanley for crying out loud and Fraser NEVER has, not ONCE!
I just had to get that out because it is just one of those little fic pet peeves that irritates the crap out of me and if I keep all of this stuff bottled up inside I might end up having to take anger management classes or in a coma after my head explodes!
