The number above is one that has been set up by Proctor & Gamble corporation in response to complaints they have apparently had from the AFA (The American Family Association) in regard to the Luke and Noah storyline on As The World Turns (a show which is owned by P&G).
If you call the number (after you are given the option of continuing in English) you will be asked to press "2" if you are calling in regard to the storyline featuring Luke and Noah. Then the recording will ask you to press "1" if you are in support of this storyline or "2" if you have "serious concerns" about the storyline. Anyway, if you want to strike a blow against homophobic bigots please call and just press "1" in support of a storyline that is LONG past due on daytime TV.
The AFA has apparently sent out a mass mailing to their membership urging them to voice their opinions. So, surely all the bigoted asshats who are afraid they will catch "the gay" if they see gayness on tv will be calling to express their moral revulsion over two sweet, decent young gay men kissing on-screen while all the heterosexual couples on the show lie, cheat, steal, kill, commit adultery, fornicate, blackmail, rape, do drugs, have kids out of wedlock, etc. You would think they would be campaigning against all the really morally bankrrupt crap that happens on soaps, but no...two gay boys kissing is FAR worse!
