I was sitting quietly, listen to "Go Beyond, Kagome!" which has been the song I listen too all the time now. It's so relaxful and anit-stressing that you barely notice that it plays, but just sits back and relaxes. I want a cd with such kind of music.
Well, back to the point. I was sitting quietly, listening to "Go Beyond, Kagome!", studying like the good and adult kid I am. The birds are singing outside, my window is open and I can see the bush outside my window, listen to the baby blackbirds (or as we call then, sunblacks) chip lovely, waiting for their parents to bring them back food. As I was reading about , noting every little thing down, there is a slight change in the baby chicks chipping. Suddently, it's much louder and horrible. The sounds are erased, one by one, and the last chip is overwhelmed by a bloody gargling, and every blackbird in the neighbourhood suddently raise the alarm, and are still going. A cat has been near the nest, eradicated every form of life that might have grown from that little stack of leaves and twigs.
I stand up and look beyond the window for a long time, 15 minutes at least. It is like I can't accept what happened.
Such cruelty for survival.
