So life is actually going well for once!
Ingrid and I will be heading down to Santa Cruz for Thanksgiving. I'm excited to show her my hometown! And oh my God, I am SO looking forward to the food. My mom is a great cook.
(True story: My mom asked Ingrid if she was cool with the fact that there would be no turkey, and Ingrid said, "As long as there's stuffing, I'm happy." Mom confirmed that the stuffing was her favorite part, so it'd definitely be there. I think it's my favorite part too, my mom makes KILLER stuffing.)
As for my classes, I'm getting an A- in History Of Animation (I'm tied for the second highest grade in the whole class!), and a C in Narrative Storytelling. I should be able to bring that C up to a respectable B-, though (I have to get good grades this semester to bring my abysmal GPA up). And I'm actually currently ahead on my homework--they were watching a video on a digital projector in class, and I couldn't watch (something about that type of projector fucks with my eyes and gives me a bad headache), so the teacher let me sit in another room and do the homework for next week!
I'm thinking maybe Ingrid and I can try and talk my parents into taking us to see Wreck-It Ralph over Thanksgiving break. They're huge Disneyphiles, and my dad's a gamer, so yeah. And my friend Fiona and I are gonna see Rise Of The Guardians in about two weeks. :3
The Promstuck fundraiser went incredibly well. We needed 900 bucks to get an indoor venue, and we raised 910! And I won three things in the auction--a little keychain of some catboy, a Leijon-themed scarf, and A FUCKING ARADIA SHIRT. You should've seen my reaction to the last one, it was kinda hilarious.
I'm really stoked for Promstuck. I think I'ma be Aradia, and I might try to talk Ingrid into being Tavros so we can be a moirail couple. Hopefully I won't get all panicky and sick like I did at my senior prom!
