So for anyone who's unaware, peeling wallpaper off walls sucks balls. Seriously. (that was not intended to rhyme...) I spent a full three and a half hours today running this tool all over the wall to make holes in the wallpaper, and then spraying the wall with a mixture of ammonia and water, and then trying to peel it off. Lots of times I didn't make enough holes so the ammonia and water couldn't get through to dissolve the paste and it didn't come off correctly, etc etc etc. I was doing this in a bathroom, and the wallpaper was only on the top half of the room. THREE AND A HALF HOURS. I think I inhaled too much ammonia and killed brain cells. Next time, I'd prefer to kill brain cells doing something more fun.
I got two fake ebay emails today. those things freak me out. They say that my account is going to explode in about 2 hours and the entire internet community is going to hate me and I'm going to get sued (slight exaggeration). So I go to where they tell me to go, and then there are 80 billion things I"m supposed to enter in order to re-validate my account. Umm, sorry, when you ask for my ebay name, password, social security number, checking account number, credit card number, pin, driver's license number, and birthday, I'm a little suspicious. Needless to say, I did not give them any of this information, and instead forwarded the email to spoof@ebay.com. And my account did not explode.
Yesterday I went back to my high school to watch the spring musical. The seats at my high school theatre are folding chairs on risers. Well, at intermission, a student fell off the back of the risers and hit her head on the wall and apparently knocked herself out. Someone called 911 and they carried her out on a backboard. They said they think she's fine, but she's got to go get checked out. The second act was cancelled. I will be returning to my high school on Tuesday to go to the last GSA meeting of the year where hopefully the headmaster will show up to discuss a survey the GSA wants to do, and then I can bitch at him and tell him that contrary to whatever he may thing, WMA is NOT a fucking liberal atmosphere and he can shove his "I don't think this school is ready to discuss gay issues" bullshit up his ass, where it belongs and that gay kids at WMA are treated like shit and you graduate believeing that the entire world is going to suck there's no potential for you to ever be happy or be equal with everyone else because you automatically suck and are essentially a 3rd class citizen (black people are second-class citizens, or so it seems at WMA) for the rest of your life. I'm aware that was a horrible run-on sentence but I don't care.
Those are kind of my updates for the moment. My fingers are cold. My house is cold. It needs to stop fucking raining. All it does is rain.
I miss Annie tons, and all you other Smith-folk too. It's hard to believe we've been away for what? a week? wow. is it fall yet?
