Wait, how's it lonely? Do you not have a lot of friends?

Yeah, friends. But, y'know, just friends. Sometimes I think I'm not ever gonna be anything else, to anybody. That's the lonely part.

[Why does he always open up to Demyx? Maybe he just has one of those faces. Forgive him.]

[If 'one of those faces' means 'never stops asking questions', then yes. That's the reason.]

Just because you aren't dating anyone doesn't mean you're alone, though, does it? I mean, is that weird, if you aren't?

[He is asking out of selfish reasons, actually, but he visibly relaxes at that. Now he's curious about Neil again.] Alright, good.

So, uh, aside from that one girl, what've been the problems with the other dates?

[He laughs darkly.]

How long do you have?

[Oh god, why would you ever?]

Uh. I dunno. A couple of hours?

[Neil sighs, then takes a deep breath.]

There was Dani, who just thought that she needed to have a boyfriend, and I was the first guy who said yes. She dumped me when some guy who played sports and had an expensive haircut said yes, too.

Tricia or Trisha or something like that... I dunno, got dared or lost a bet or something like that. We went to a movie once, and then she'd fulfilled the bet or dare or whatever, so then that was over.

Vanessa... is a long story. I dunno if I wanna talk about Vanessa, actually. [He clears his throat uncomfortably.] There was an... incident. After that, she didn't wanna talk to me ever again.

This guy from one of my classes set me up with Sarah, and she agreed to go out with me because she thought he was describing someone else when he told her who I was. She seemed really confused and hardly talked to me the whole night, and I didn't find out why until later.

And then there was Knives. And... yeah, you know that story, pretty much.

Oh my god, are all of these people canon?

[He is very much failing at trying to keep up] Oh, so she- who would dar- what sort of in- ever? But what- So she didn't actually- and she kinda did the same thing, didn't she?
