For Gawain, of course, there's the garlic press liberated from Kit's workshop, scrubbed to the brightest shine it will take and tied about with red ribbon.

For Clarissant there's a rock, about the size of her two fists. It's not even a particularly ornamental rock, but it has a good weight to it, a good feel, a certain peculiarly satisfying rockness that only Clar is likely to perceive.

For Gaheris there are new shoes, courtesy of Michael. They're low, sturdy, sensible shoes, not very good for long adventurous treks, but excellent for yard work or walks in the woods.

For Agravain a box of instant cocoa, with a note tucked in: Fine, be a rugged individualist if you want. I figure even you can boil water.

For Gareth there is a thneed, in bright scarlet.

For Cywyllog there's a shawl in dusky blue, lightweight, but very soft and very warm.

For Melehan, a Swiss army knife with, hopefully, no completely baffling attachments.

For Morgause, an intricate golden hair ornament, acquired at the fair: a dragon with outspread wings and tiny hooked talons. For Morgan, exactly the same in silver. (Never say that Mordred can't pay a charming left-handed compliment.)

For Luneta, there's a lovely box of polished wood, velvet-lined, with her name carved within a circle of ivy leaves on the lid.

For Percy there are half a dozen small ceramic plant pots, the right size for a windowsill, painted with the names and representative samples of assorted household herbs.

For Bedivere, an insulated travel mug with a lid.

For Zara, a pincushion, but not the bog-standard cloth tomato; this is bright emerald-green, embroidered with a comical scowling face and under it the words: "QUIT THAT!"

For Alice there are silk ribbons, a whole packet of them in a rainbow of colors.

For Draco, a book whose dust jacket reads "Miss Manners' Guide to Excruciatingly Correct Behavior". If he bothers to look into it, however, he'll discover that it is actually a rather nice edition of Culpeper's "Complete Herbal", specially annotated for the magical practitioner.

And there's one other thing... but that's kept in the box under his bed, until there's a time to give it.
