weekend update with norm mcdonald
i haven't been on here in awhile.....so i'll just recap my weekend.
friday.......drove to milwaukee, went to lindseys house.....then went to the SOTY, Lost Prophets, My Chemical Romance, Anberlin show at the rave. anberlin-nothing special. MCR, awesome, wish their set was longer. Lost prophets- not bad. SOTY-ehh.left half way through.
way home, lindsey got a flat, i rocked the spare tire and grease on my fingers. spent the night at her house, watched Grind, went to bed about 2, woke up at 4 completely freaked out, weird dream but can't remember it. went back to bed, woke up at 6 freaked out again. got some water, watched some tv, finally fell back asleep. woke up 10ish, drove home.
sat.....poker tournament at my friends house. $50 to play, i didn't think i'd win but i didn't want to be the first out,...i made it to the second round, and if the guy wouldn't have busted my king high flush with an ace high flush i would have been at the final table with a chance to win some money. weird night though, didn't drink, but was completely paranoid, my heart was racing and hands where shaking, not the greatest atributes for a poker player. came home, weird, shitty, confused, thinking-i'm-sick, not-wanting-to-go-to-bed, mood.
so despite feeling (and looking) like shit.... the weekend was pretty good.
