hey everybody. iàm in italy and itàs about as cold as home but much brighter and they speak a different language here. also everything is old. and huge. and sometimes egyptian, àcause the romans were very good stealers. last night, we sang mass at san pietro. thatàs saint peteràs basilica. the reason martin luther was like §this has got to stop§. and though iàm not catholic...at all...it was awe'inspiring. incredible food here, and incredible wine, and itàs all very inexpensive if you go to the right places which are usually very small. in contrast with all the very big. in rome, one pays for atmosphere.
off to ninfah (i know itàs spelled wrong...deal with it) today, if we can find a bus-train-mode of transportation. otherwise, we will probably find a welcoming piazza and get comfortably drunk. then find cheap panini around the college. panini and beer are a wonderful thing.
also, all the punctuation on this keyboard is fucked up, because itàs italian. iàm not going to fix it, because i need to go go go.
tute bene.
