A girl comes into work today. She has two "9 week old" baby guinea pigs for sale. 9 weeks old my arse. These fellas were nearly adults. Erin pulled the first one out and I nearly laughed at the size of him, and then she pulled the second one out and I knew I was in trouble. A white abyssinian... Ive always always always wanted a white Abyssinian.
But it gets worse. The girl leaves, and I decide I just have to have a look at them a bit closer. And... their blind. Yup, cateracts. And guess whos the sucker who cant leave two blind guinea pigs behind? Yup, me.
Sooo, the list is now: Two dogs, one cat, seven rats, six guinea pigs.
And we're ALL going on a place in a month! Should be fun.
