Summer of George, Day 20

Haha, I almost forgot about my blog completely today.  This was a good day, in particular because I caught up on some sleep finally, among other things.  But we will start from the beginning.

This morning I went and had breakfast at my grandma's when I picked up my cousin for Bible school.  I had oatmeal, and drank some coffee.  Then we went to Bible school, and the lessons today were on the covenant, and the passages in Genesis dealing with how it applied to his life, and how Israel was set apart to be God's people.  We even got into all the stuff from Genesis 15 with the actual making of the covenant, things which I never understood to a few years ago.  I know at least a few of them understood the whole concept fo the ceremony of making a covenant and passing between the pieces of the animals.  Tomorrow's lesson will be on Isaac, and I believe Friday finally we will jump ahead to Jesus.  My cousin has other plans tomorrow with her family, and plans on returning to Bible school on Friday for the last day of it.

Then I went and laid down at my grandma's for about an hour, didn't sleep a whole lot but gathered some energy.  After that I came home and ran five miles, during the whole time my legs ached badly.  None the less, I had a decent run, and then went to the gym where I did biceps and abs.  Then I wnet with my grandparents and parents to Rock City, where I got a small cheeseburger and grilled chicken salad, and after that came home and slept for over three hours.  Now I need to get my lesson ready for tomorrow morning.  I like having Bible school, but it will be nice when the running around subsides a bit.  Anyway, that is all for now.
